Just purchased an old US Currency collection with $1000 and $500 notes

The market is very strong for both $500 and
$1,000 bills in above average condition I
think yours would qualify.

I now have the hills in hand and took better photos. They are both quite nice. The 500 is better than the 1000 in my opinion.
I have no idea on numerical grades or if there is enough of a price bump to warrant the expense and time.

 

Both notes are up on eBay now and are already doing quite well. I’ll post the hammer prices on Sunday evening.

 

Auctions just ended. $1000 sold for $3150 and the $500 sold for $1750
Needless to say, I’m quite pleased. I anticipated $2300-2500 for the $1000 and $1500 for the $500. thanks for all the input!
