There is a slight rim bruise at 9:00 on the reverse, not at all unusual for these bigger coins that saw a lot of circulation.</p><p>Just a bit bigger than a modern a U.S. silver quarter, this &quot;two bit&quot; coin was legal tender in the U.S. until 1857.</p><p>The 1801 is listed as KM# 91 in the &quot;Krause/Mishler Standard Catalog of World Coins&quot; (1801-1900).</p><p><br /></p><p>Someday I hope to get one of those nicer examples of the&nbsp; El Cazador shipwreck in the 8 reales denomination.[/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
