Just lost some auctions, about ready to kick the dog!

    The trick to gambling is always be able to walk away. Make your bids that you are comfortable with and that is it. Even if you are trying to buy lower than anyone else or trying to find a sleeper, you should never get attached.

    Thats what I do.

    One incident happened earlier this year where there was an ancient of Crispina I really liked & thought sure I was gonna win it. I placed my max bid the last few seconds and things looked good until 2 seconds till closing and poof, lost it by $5. I was pretty ****ed...

    Fast forward a week later I get a "second chance email" out of the blue for the coin, it explained the buyer never paid and didnt respond to messages...but sadly I couldnt accept the offer because I already spend that coin money on another batch of ancients.

    It just wasnt meant to be but man I still think about the coin because it was a pretty good deal for a slightly rare empress who usually starts at $100:confused:

    I am SOOOO with you on this, i loathe bid shiping!

    But what are you gonna do?

    It still is a rush each time, kind of a coin-high!!!
