My dad had always wanted my brother to have a boy to carry on the name. I was not even sure that could have a child but that’s something sometimes some doing like to speak about. Lay low family conversations! But when dad passed, my brother had been married for 16 yrs.. well don’t you know, a strong Angel from above two months later, pregnant. My sister in law it had to be. Well don’t you know it, it was a boy!

In a way, I am lucky. I have 3 children... 1 boy (51yro), 2 girls (52 & 48) and 11 grandchildren. I have contact with my son, but due to divorce, I haven't seen my daughters or their families since the divorce.) Anyway, I tried to get my son into coin collecting, but he started collecting Marvel comic books when he was 12 and baseball cards when he was 11. From what I understand, his collections are worth more than all of my coins.

Oh yes… I think about the cards my brother had as a young boy. Same with the comic books. That’s a big field of collecting as well.
Yes you are lucky. And one never knows, your daughters will come to light one day. One never knows when but it does. Maybe your son will start the coin collecting one day.
