It resets to zero. They made that change a few months back unfortunately. I think I ended up with $5.17...so I just barely made it. Of course, mine's already spent.
Thanks I just love the smell & sounds of live steam so my fascination with coins/medals with steam engines on them
One day I will be buying inventory through ebay, until then I gotta earn my Bux the hard way by adding to my collection. Le sigh. Wish I could top out at the $500 mark, kudos to you on the freebie, although I thought your M.O. was to buy a free coin that you could turn around and make even more money on to compound the free windfall. Gold still gets me all giddy. Besides, I doubt I'll be losing money finding a PCGS MS64 for $1499, (that only cost me $999)!
It does feel good to get something back from eBay and then compound it. But me likey the golden delicious gold!
Well, I'm a lucky guy. My wife said that since I earned the "Bucks" by buying coins, she got to spend them on what she wanted.(I know, I never should've told her about them) http://www.ebay.com/itm/30080712473...eName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649 I love her anyway.
I had about $15 in ebay bucks, which made my purchase more affordable. I had my eye on a certain "colonial" for a while (I only put colonial in quotation marks because although the coin is dated 1783, it was struck in the 1820s). Looks like I got a good price for this one considering the grade, which looks around F15-VF20, and a little verdi-care once it arrives should clean it up nicely. It's on its way from Canada as we speak. http://www.ebay.com/itm/1783-Copper...31?pt=Coins_US_Individual&hash=item2a3a435adb
