    I didn't see you post about buying the Morgan. I wonder how long ago she bought it? When were staples and Sharpies invented?

    The first stapler was patented in the mid-1860s. The Sharpie was invented about 100 years later - in 1964.

    I'll have to list the rest of the coins I have, all sorts of foreign coins two. Lots of Canadian early 1900's and late 1800's coins.

    Quite an interesting bunch of coins.

    The 1760 8 reales coin in post#18 is a fake.

    The surface is very porous, very cast-looking, and there is a characteristic horizontal 'planchet flaw' on the right of the reverse (globe and column side). Compare with the example on the following page:
