This coin is beautiful, and comes with classic 1958 mint set toning. Unfortunately, its also a beast to photograph. So I was forced to try something new, and I'd like to hear what you guys think of the results. The first picture is KryptoniteComics (I don't think he's on this board, I know him at NGC) original picture. Yes, the colors are really as vibrant and rainbowed as the pic shows. The second and third are my attempts at photoing this lovely beast, but I couldn't capture what I wanted. Then I noticed that one of my pics was pretty nice in the center, but the other one captured the color around the edges pretty well - so I attempted something I have never before done. I used photoshop and blended the two pics together, which is the last picture. Tell me what you think. These are the clumsy efforts of a first attempt, but I think it gets the job done sort of. At least, I have an idea of what it can do. The center of the blended image is a little blurry because I had a hard time matching the two pictures up exactly. It gives it a bit of a double image, but its not too bad.

Why not just use krypto's excellent pics you ask? Because I wanted to try this one and give it my best shot.
