Just found my first 1944 P nickel I see doubling on rim ..need help

    Looks to be a bit of a finned rim issue.
    Over the years it folded over due to circulation wear. Normal issue. Nothing major.

    QUESTION: I've sometimes wondered if the irregularly-shaped rim could be due to die deterioration, but I've never thought to ask.
