That's not "the one". Not even sure if that is one at all... http://coppercoins.com/lincoln/diestate.php?date=1984&die_id=1984p1do001&die_state=eds
Wexler has another one listed . I think the one he has listed, is a very late die state too . 1984 1¢ WDDO-008 “Best Of” Variety Description: A strong spread to the NE shows on the lower ear, the beard, and Lincoln’s eye. Die Markers: Obverse: Numerous die scratches running mostly WSW/ENE can be seen throughout the obverse. Reverse: Very strong N/S die gouge can be seen in the 10th Memorial bay. I will check for the other errors, the ear looks like WDDO -008.Thanks. Checkout the next coin I'm going to post in a few minutes it's a 2015.
The quickest way I've found to determine the "ear" coin is that the doubled "ear" tip is below the nose line. If the bottom tip of the ear is in line or above the nose line then it's not doubled ear. I'm not an expert tho...just a tad lazy.
Ok thanks, check out my 2015 Philadelphia I just posted.I took some pictures with the usb microscope it's not that good of quality because,I take the picture on the computer with the usb microscope and then take that picture with my phone and then post.
