<p>[QUOTE=&quot;jtlee321, post: 2904340, member: 73983&quot;]I&#039;ve been wanting to hang a coin related poster on my wall for a long time now.&nbsp; So after thinking of something fun to do, I decided that a toned Carson City Morgan Set would look really good and I could keep the coin sizes decent enough that they could be seen from a few feet away.</p><p><br /></p><p>Unfortunately, I have not been lucky enough to have had the pleasure to photograph all of the CC coins, let alone toned.&nbsp; So, since this is a personal use project and I am not selling the poster or using the images for any commercial gain, I made use of some fantastic images from PCGS CoinFacts.&nbsp; Thankfully PCGS is very generous in allowing the public to download high resolution images for personal use.</p><p><br /></p><p>I decided on a final size of 24x36 for this poster.&nbsp; I went through and chose toned coins that would look good together.&nbsp; My personal preference for toned coins is not the wild neon rainbow, but a little different.&nbsp; If you&#039;ve seen a lot of my toned Morgan Dollars that I post, then you have an idea of what my taste is.&nbsp; I&#039;ve used the obverse and Reverse of each date.&nbsp; I did only one example for each year and excluded the major varieties to keep it simple.&nbsp; I was able to show the coins at double actual size, so each coin in the final print will be 3 inches in diameter.&nbsp; I went with a bit of a Western theme since these coins were minted in the pinnacle of the &quot;Wild West&quot; days.&nbsp; This was done using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.</p><p><br /></p><p>The image below is around 1/6th the actual size, but you can get an idea of the detail available.&nbsp; I hope you enjoy seeing it as much as I enjoyed putting it together.&nbsp; I would appreciate any feedback or comments you have.</p><p><br /></p><p>[ATTACH=full]700261[/ATTACH][/QUOTE]</p><p><br /></p>
