Okay it is 0042 in the morning and I've read everything I think so I'll tell something I did on a whim. There were a couple posts recently about the 1976 Quarter, I read them and didn't think too much about it and moved on. I'm not planning on purchasing any Buffalo Nickels now, getting close to vacation time. So I came up with an idea I could use a complete set of the '76 Quarters for. I purchased four; P and D BU, and the clad and silver proofs. I got all four for > than 8. but < 9 with S & H. Will they ever be worth more than what I paid for them? Doubtful, some may say I even paid too much, and they may be right. If I did pay too much it's maybe 2 or 3 bucks. But this is a really attractive coin, I'm sure glad I got them, and just a little tidbit that I hope my sons find interesting some day. I don't think coins always have to be rare or costly to be interesting. Their beauty, what they represent in our history can also make them interesting. No matter what the mintage was it is still a very special quarter representing an important part of our history that will never reoccur. Plus in '76 there was this redhead I was dating and............
