G'Day Ancient Aussie, It has been nice getting to know you & your coins over the last year. We have a nice little coin club here at CT !:) Last month I had a little contest that was probably not seen by many people in the ancient forum. In fact, nobody at CT knew abut the contest until after I announced the winner.:D It happened that the winner was in the World coin forum so that is where the contest was described. This was the contest (that nobody knew about): My number of CoinTalk posts since 2008 and my number of recent “likes” was about to become the same number. I decided to hold a contest for a numismatic gift. The person that gave that one required “like” (that made my number of likes equal my number of posts) would receive a present from Collect89 much like a secret Santa gift. The gift was tailored to the individual winner. If you want to see the contest announcement & gift it is here: https://www.cointalk.com/threads/congratulations-montcollector-the-giveaway-contest-that-nobody-knew-about.298140/#post-2768959) Our CT member (Montcollector) was very happy and completely surprised to learn that he had won.:) Edit to add a favorite coin: [B]SICULO PUNIC, SICILY, Entella.
