Holy crap this is amazing. They look prestine too!! How much is just this like worth roughly? Probably a small fortune?

@lordmarcovan - I saw a pile like that when the Houston Museum of Natural Science had a Pompey exhibit. I was amazed that they had a large pile of Aureii in two different exhibit windows with almost no fanfare. They also had the 12 Caesars in bronze, but mis-attributed a few of them (including a Roman Imperial bronze of Otho).

 

Talking about a pile of coins: found in Trier in 1993 during the course of excavation work for a new garage. 2650 aureii...

 

You sure that isn't part of Clios collection?

Man one could spend many months enjoying those.
