Going through a batch of junk silver quarters and found a few winners. The first is a 1941 DDR-014, I believe. I expected attribution was going to be difficult because of the significant wear but the die gouge through "OF AM" made it possible, I think. Would be good to get confirmation from the experience on this forum if you all are willing. The second is not listed on Variety Vista. It is a 1951-S where, it seems, the mint mark is quite clearly repunched toward the west but nothing like that is listed on VV. I'm not sure but I don't think machine doubling would look like this? Any thoughts? As always, appreciate the feedback as I educate myself through this fantastic hobby. Thanks in advance.
