Well I have been checking ebay for over a week now and I cannot find any offer's or auctions where junk silver is being sold at spot or melt. I check face value auctions, BIN, All kinds of troy ounce offerings and even "make an offer" type auctions but to no avail.

If someone here on CT has scored spot or even melt on a junk silver purchase off e-bay I would love to see the link.

And please I know about the sellers fee's with the bay and paypal and a sellers margin. All I am asking is for someone to show me a melt value closed auction of any kind.

I look for the same thing and it has been pretty slim lately. I really prefer foreign silver allowing the seller to make a small profit, but I can't even find that. The closest thing I have found is a couple of lots at about 22% over spot. Too much for me. I like the foreign stuff, so if anyone has it around spot (literally spot), let me know.

Why would you expect to find it for spot on EBay? After their fees the seller would end up with a lot less than spot. No one is going to sell under those terms.

The only way you're going to find it on Ebay is one off auctions that end under spot or once in a blue moon BIN listings that are gone in seconds after going live.

I don't see anyone selling under spot on eBay. By the time they pay all the fees and shipping they will be better off just selling at an LCS.

I find it periodically, especially when the price of silver goes up and the original listing is still there. I've picked up a couple of lots (usually large ones) that work out to be spot in those situations. It's rare, but it does happen.
