Hi all, I finally have some time to get back into collecting in a meaningful way. I always start out with my US collection but quickly slide (gravitate?) back to ancients. My wife and I were up in Plattsburgh, NY this weekend for my sons college orientation and we always poke around antique stores to see if there is anything cool to pick up for our house. lo and behold, there were two inexpensive roman bronzes in a dealers case, unattributed, so I picked them up to hone my skills. One is a FEL TEMP REPARATIO that I'll post later. I attributed that one pretty quickly as the legends were in great shape. This one appears to be poorly struck and also not in the greatest condition. I believe it to be Valentinian II Constantinople Mint (delta appears to be visible in mintmark) RIC IX 63a Any thoughts on my attribution? Feel free to post pics of your Valentinian IIs Thanks, Frank
