A lot less expensive is a gold coin from a later Roman emperor, Theodosius II:

    Struck: AD 424-425, Constantinople mint
    Size: 22mm x 21mm
    Weight: 4.18gm
    Catalog: RIC Constantinople 232
Note: Gloria Orbis Terrarum is "Glory over the world"
    Note: Ex Harlan J. Berk

I visited Istanbul in April and hiked along some of the city walls that Theo had built.

A silly reason for buying a coin.

    :)
