I thought this was the issue with Vercingetorix depicted as a captive. His hair style is same as on the Hostilius Sasema. Apparently exceedingly rare, never seen one for sale.

I'm missing that highly desired OP coin of JC and I have a few of those 'captive' devices posted by others, so I'll add this version: AR Quinarius of Cloelius, 98 BC, with the reverse of Victory crowning trophy, a seated 'Gallic' captive and war trumpet and a cool horned helmet for you 'Viking Fans' ..... It is believed this refers to Marius' victories over the Teutones and Ambrones in 102 BC and the Cimbri in 101 BC.

Only thing I sorta see is that the helm on the trophy didn't look right. Was there more obvious tell? Acsearch yielded this one, and description said finest copy known. Obv. of your coin is actually better Thanks for sharing you two.
