Judge: Make Bills Recognizable to Blind

    If I remember correctly, the Australian bills were all 0.5 cm longer as the denominations got higher. I'm anal about lining up my money before putting it in my wallet, and that drove me nuts for a minute or two until I figured it out.

    I remember this being an issue back in the late 60's or early 70's. Coin World had an article about this. The Braille technique was the preferred solution.

    Interesting how these issues surface, submerge, and resurface over time.

    One, I think judges need to stick to enforcing the law, not making them....

    I'm pretty sure we learned in History class that, that was supposed to be left to a whole different branch...

    Second, just because you don't benifit from something doesn't mean your discriminated against ???

    If it does and thats the case, there are several things that benifit certian people that I do not get...

    Right off the top, Free medical, Free Education, soon maybe Social Sec benifits...

    Ohh I'm discriminated against!!!!

    Time to move this discussion to the PRWE forum, as judicial philosophy and government authority should be discussed there. I am as guilty as some other posters of straying from the numismatic focus, for which I apologize.
