There are many more Jewish—Roman War coins available but the prices are beyond me. I'm grateful to have these.

Deacon Ray, That's a nice group & great presentation ;). Below are photos of my favorite Jewish War coin, A year two Shekel, A.D. 67 -68, 22 mm, 14.21 rm. This one cost me an arm and a leg :banghead:.

Fantastic set! These coins are not often seen in such fine condition. You did an excellent job assembling them.

Lovely coins @Deacon Ray - my fav of the group is your Hendin 1369.
@Al Kowsky , I'd too give an arm and a leg for that beauty!

I'm lacking Judaean War Coins but for some reason I wound up with two of these:

    First Jewish Revolt, 66 - 70 A.D. Æ Prutah of the second year and struck 67/68 A.D.
Obv: Amphora with broad rim and two handles; Paleo-Hebrew inscription "Year Two”
Rev: Vine leaf on small branch; Paleo-Hebrew inscription: “The Freedom of Zion”
    17.2 mm, 2.92 grams

I don't usually collect this series, but I am a sucker for the history of this period.
The first (? 1/8th shekel) I believe has a fake patina (or what some dealers euphemistically call applied patina). I believe the 2 prutah are year 3 of the revolt. Df35e8NYEy5nm2Sw6ZnctxL47Nz7W9.jpg

Superb coin @Al Kowsky ! I'll bet you paid dearly for it but it must be among the finest in existence.
