We'll just start over on this one, and hand out some chill pills. Cup o' tea, anyone?
Woe to the next person who makes any political comments on this thread. Fair warning.
I'm an Earl Grey guy myself, but prefer Bigelow brand to Twinings (one "n"). I make my iced tea with it. Not much of a hot beverage guy.
(sips tea, leans back in chair)
It was a Carpet mill that helped in the Civil War and Second World War ! It made Blankets for sure that I know about . Oh crap, the meteor showers ! See Ya!
Era I see 2 "Ns'" each after an "i". Just saying
Yep! You’re right, by golly! But the Ns aren’t slammed together like Sal did. “Twinnings” would be some freaky thing involving the pairing of twins.
Twinings: probably rhymes with “linings”.
Twinnings: rhymes with “innings” (as in baseball)
And now we (I) am guilty of derailing and hijacking this poor thread a second time, only for nonsensical rather than political reasons.
Post reported! ;-)
...and to add something related to the topic: I actually like the joke a lot. Thanks @SensibleSal66 keep posting them!
