With the Tylers, people were prepared: sellers hoarded, and collectors purchased early so they wouldn't be caught empty handed. Well, that's my theory anyway. I *think* -- although I have to check -- the same thing (on a smaller scale) happened with the DC Quarter sets and the PR Quarter sets.  The former are selling for higher than the latter -- again, because I think the quick sell out of DC caught some people by surprise, and they were ready when PR sold out.  (And I know, because I see the DC prices, and I've been having a hard time moving the PR roll sets!)
