got mine today Yep -- I just cancelled my order. But not because I didn't want them. Read on! Some people are lucky because, say, they find good stuff roll searching (never happened to me), or they run into a roll of 2009 dimes (not me) . . . but my variety of luck is that I happen to work a mere 3 blocks from the mint store. So, after reading the beginning of this thread, I rushed to order on-line and got a "back order" message. Ten minutes later it occurred to me to call the US Mint kiosk. They have them in stock! So, I went over there, got what I just ordered online, and then canceled the on-line order. (Saves me waiting and a shipping charge!) And I asked the man: "these were sold out last week, what happened?" He replied (as he usually does): "I don't know -- but we got a shipment in this morning". (Hmm . . . so yesterday and/or the day before the mint knew they weren't sold out, right?, if they were shipping them to their stores). ========= On a side note: I'd love to help folks out here and pick up mint rolls for them -- but I'm guessing that with shipping, you're just as well off to get them from the Mint (if you don't mind waiting).
