Stuck in quarantine, I'm binge watching Better Call Saul. In one episode, Saul and his buddy run a scam in a bar where he sells a '64-D Kennedy half for $110. The scam: In 1964 the mint replaced the Lincoln half (yeah, that's what they said) with the Kennedy half, and Kennedy is supposed to be facing east. A rogue Denver mint employee reversed the obverse so he's facing west, and the rare error is worth $800. Sorry, it made me chuckle. I can't decide if the Lincoln joke was intentional or ignorant. Doesn't really matter.
Funny. Reminds me of a Kennedy Half where the center is cut out to insert a Cent. It is a novelty item and used as a golf game ball marker. (not my coin)
