Jewelry Scale - Problem

    BINGO! That was the problem. I needed to calibrate the scale using both 50g weights,not just using one.

    The instructions should indicate using both (100g combined) calibration weights. It just instructs to put on the “calibration weight” (singular).

    Thank you for all of the help. I greatly appreciate it.

    Happy I didn’t waste my money buying a malfunctioning scale.

    Let me guess... made in China? Not just the scale, but also the manual...

    +/- .194 grams Which is OK if you can tolerate a 4% error range.

    Something else that can screw up the readings on these micro scales is close proximity to radio waves or the router for internet. The circuit boards inside don't like them.

    Oh yeah. I have a lot of hobbies and most involve getting components from China. There is definitely "lost in translation" issues with the manuals.
