My order at 1220EST says on hold with ship dates of 9/24 on both

 

spouse gold

i got mine order # 263177xx. it's backordered 10/30/07. not only that. it's on the waiting list. i think i won't get it. will try next spouse.

 

elaine? how do you know it's on the waiting list? does it say that anywhere? I am trying to figure out just exactly where in line I am.

 

Does anyone know when the order numbers began and / or the time in which people went to a waiting list?

 

Aberlight, I submitted two orders and it looks like I'm ok!! My best guess is anything after 11:15 AM (PDT) and in the 2631XXXX plus range could be on the waiting list!! Possibly a little lower in the 2630XXXX, problem is l;ike so many others I waisted a lot of time on the phone line and didn't get on the web site untill abouit 10:35 PDT.

 

I have a order at 1:15 ET - 2629515x and another order at 26303254x. The ship date on the first oder is 9/24 and the second oder is 10/9.

What do you think my odds are on the second order?

So people that are on a waiting list dont have order numbers? I didn't may much attention to the description regarding the waiting list and wasn't sure if I was on it.

 

Elaine after saying you didn't like these you now ordered? Of all the spouse coins I think this one will be the king as far as proof goes, not only beautiful but rare at 20,000.

 

Looks like some are still able to get around the mint limits, I saw someone bragging they ordered 100 sets on another board. They must have gotten up all the PO Boxes around the area, hope the mint cracks down on this.

 

I have a hard time believing anyone is capable of getting 100 sets unless they have a office with 50+ people using the web up with different addresses. May just be some punk trying to aggravate people. It took me 1 1/2 hours to place two orders : 1 unc and a second order for 1 proof.

 

He is taking orders from dealers on the 200 coins so I think it is legit, wish it wasn't though.

 

Thanks to the web I got 2 coins but the phones were not working makes you wonder if someone had a fix in

 

I was going to ask my bro to try to get me another 2 coins but it was really asking a lot. As it is I took the day off work to get my 2, I could not ask my brother to take the day off.

 

I got in at 1:32 pm and I got the confirmation email. That sounds pretty solid, what do you think?

shipping date was moved from 9/24 to 9/14 for uncirculated?.

 

Perhaps someone should refer the mint to his sales site. They might wish to investigate.

Less noticeable, are the people selling 50 empty First Spouse Coin Capsules on eBay. I'm sure these people didn't buy all their coins on the secondary market.

 

Good golly Miss Molley I had a hard time getting through. This was the first spouse that I tried for but I liked the obverse and reverse. I only had dial up and a land phone line available but you can forget about the land phone line. At 12:45 PM I succeded to get to the page where you put in the pertinent data but forgot to check a box and that put me back to zero. Forty five minutes later I found myself at the same page and checked the correct box and got the proof. I knew that there would be less non-proofs but I think the proof is prettier. It does seem sort of unfair and like a crap shoot when there are so many buyers and so little time.
