Jefferson Spouse Order numbers

Mine has a ship date of 9/24. Everything gets back ordered initially so that they can check addresses and confirm 1 per person limits.

Well at least it has eye appeal and almost has to become the most popular of the series (don't think there will be any other "liberty" heads?)​

Anyway, didn't we have fun today!​

 

All of the presidents who didn't have spouses will have a 'liberty' heads coin. Hopefully they will put a little variety in the mix.

There are supposed to be 3 more "liberty head" coins.
2 in 2008 - Andrew Jackson and Martin van Buren
1 in 2010 - James Buchanan

 

The design is pre-determined to match the obverse of a circulating coin during that president's term. That will guarantee attractive designs for all of the widowed presidents' spouses.

I just noted that in 2009, Tyler comes up and he had two wives during his term. Does that mean there will be 5 first-spouse coins that year?

 

Where it says order mine reads "order is on hold" anyone got the same?. My order is 262879xx at 12:46

Beginning at 12:00 I was trying the web and the phone at the same time. After over an hour I finally got through on the phone. Man that was brutal! But I'm happy I got my order. :smile

This notice went up on the mint website around 2:30pm. No one can confirm exactly when the limit was reached but between 2:00 and 2:30pm seems like the probable window.

I had the 2 phones going for over a hour and could not get in. but then got in over the web Proof date of delivery Oct 09 and the Unc Sept 24,2007 backordered on both coins

I have never sseen the phones that bad

I was 8 minutes before you and it says the same thing. Both ship dates are 9/24.
