i found a 1958 s nickel in great shape s and date perfectly clear not sure where to go from here an

    i found a 1958 s nickel in vf condition dates perfect as well as the s by the dome not sure where to go from here

    There were no "S" nickels minted in 1958.

    1954 was the last S nickel until 1968.
    Let's see a photo.
    Maybe it's a 1938 then it would be a very good one.
    Sometimes the 5's and the 3's on the Jefferson's look similar.
    I have to stop drinking tequila.

    you are right I got a better magnifying glass and the eight was really a three sorry for misleading anyone

    1953-S is a low mintage coin. In circulated condition it's not worth much,
    but I would save it.

    Probably another stain, that with a little imagination, looks like an S.

    The MM is located to the right of the Monticello when viewing.
