Jefferson Nickel 1945-D NGC MS67 5FS (WHAT? NO STAR!)

As to what I can see on the coins you have posted The 42 S is * quality. The 45 D I question as too much tonning I think takes away from the coin depending on the coin. The other 45 D I'll say yes to the Rev. but no to the Obv. Now I am a nickel nut! I have several tone nickels I have put some up today on this fourm. On quaters,halfs, and silver dollars I think heavy tonning looks good because they are silver and have larger fields to show it off . Smaller coins I rather see lighter tones like candy cotton or icy blues and steel colors. Again eveyone has their likes and dislikes.... the 42 s is the bomb IHO! :bow: Paddy
