[QUOTE="Vess1, post: 1394241, member: 13650"]Hmm. It was never that hard for me. Considering the fact that it takes $70 to fill my gas tank. $100 will buy a *sticker* (license that I DO NOT want) for my license plate that I get to scrape off and buy another next year. Oh yeah, we get to buy two of those a year. In 10 years, there's 2 grand worth of state issued stickers scraped off onto the ground. Up in smoke.

I have to spend over $400 on insurance a month (that I never use) just in case something happens. There goes $4800 a year up in smoke. It cost $65 just to do my taxes online, MYSELF.

For all the crap you're forced to waste money on and get nothing out of over a lifetime, I have absolutely no regrets buying anything for any hobby that I enjoy. I'm more upset over all the ways other people/government agencies force me to spend money on stuff I don't want. May as well throw the cash in a pile and light a match. At least with a coin, you actually HAVE something.

I figure at the current time, I get to spend about 5% of my annual income on hobbies and most of the rest goes to bills. I don't know how old you are but usually as you get older, if you play your cards right, you will have more disposable income. Just buy what you're comfortable with.
