Japan WW2 Military Notes

    Picked up several of these 1942 Japan 10 Pesos Military Notes. Anyone know what the "PD" and "PE" (in red) signify?

    They are just block letters. The P is for Philippines. The quote from Tom Chao's site only indicates what blocks appear on the US made counterfeits. Not all notes with those block combinations are counterfeits.

    Neither of these notes are counterfeits.
