By far the largest of the three Millennium Expo awards, the Grand Medal of Outstanding Merit was only awarded to very few people who made major contributions to the Expo, and as such, all of them have a provenance belonging to someone of renown.</p><p><br /></p><p>Awarded to the artist Kallós Ede for his sculptures provided for the Millennium Expo pavillion. He was an extremely gifted and prolific sculptor.
