Well I usually post a year-end top 10 but I didn't do one last year, so how about a top 25 to catch up? I couldn't narrow it down to 20. Hungary 1687 Gilt Bronze Coronation Jeton of Joseph I as King of Hungary (30mm) Joseph I was only 9 years old at the time. I have since picked up an example in both silver and bronze, but this one is my favorite on eye appeal. Hungary 1782B AR József II Tallér KM-395.1 (1781-1783) PCGS MS63 This coin is currently crossing to NGC awaiting a grade. Hungary 1848 AU Dukát KINGDOM KM-425 (1837-1848) NGC MS62 It took me years to find a suitable example of the 1848 Kingdom type of this ducat, to complete my set of the three Hungarian ducat types of 1848. Hungary 1855B AR 20 Kreuzer KM-2211 (1852-1856) NGC MS65 A stunning example from the Austrian Occupation of Hungary (1849-1867). This is technically an Austrian type, but it was struck at a Hungarian mint, so Hungarian collectors consider it to be a Hungarian issue. Hungary 1867A AR Franz Joseph I. Hungarian Coronation Jeton Mont. 2712 (20mm) Latin Legends MS65+ NGC It's extremely difficult to find examples of FJI's coronation jetons above an MS63, so I was thrilled to pick up a gorgeous 65+. Hungary 1869KB AR Forint KM-449 (1868-1869) Gorgeous irridescent toning that really captures the imagination in hand. This coin is currently with NGC. Hawaii 1883 AR Kalākaua I Quarter KM-5 (1883) VAM-10 Comet ANACS MS62 (Struck at the San Francisco Mint.) I picked this up as a souvenir when my wife and I went to Hawaii. It's currently with NGC. Hungary 1888KB AR 10 Krajczár KM-451 (1870-1888) NGC MS66 I bought this in a PCGS MS66 slab and it crossed to NGC at the same grade. These photos don't do it justice but the rainbow toning is phenomenal in hand and in my opinion, star worthy. Austria 1892 AU 20 Corona KM-2806 (1892-1905) NGC MS62 PL A beautiful proof-like first year example of both the 20 corona type and denomination.
