I'm five for fighting. Of course, I did the same stupid thing with the 2011 silver eagle 25th aniversary set. I still look at that unopened box in my drawer with a tear in my eye.

Actually you can and it is very easy. Just wait for other people to buy from the mint and then simply buy what you want on the secondary market. Easy.

Wow! Either demand is low or the US Mint site is much improved with their upgrade. I had logged in before noon to "save my space" and there was none of that waiting room nonsense. I stayed logged in and by 12:02 I had checked out and had my confirmation number. Now, will their order fulfillment process be as much improved?

Just placed my order. Got back from class with 20mins to spare. Went smoothly and bought a box of 5. I was determined not to miss this as I had missed the 25th ASE.

I just ordered one set--no problems online. Guess the demand isn't the same as the HOF coins. :)

I ordered my set with a couple of other things with no problem. I saw last night that there were "pre-orders" on E-Bay for up to $159.00. I hope nobody was dumb enough to fall for the stock picture, get you your coins by December scam.

It appears that the 25th anniversary Kennedy silver set has finally sold out at a "low" mintage of just 221,134 (sarcasm should be noted). It had a sales volume of -1 last week on coinupdate.com and no longer displayed on the mint website. As it had a limit of 225k, I think it is now a sellout but have seen it officially anywhere. The secondary market has risen slightly over the past few weeks back to the mint price of about $100. Any chance that it becomes a good investment? I think not.
