Exactly! I posted it because it violates eBay's policies. I also received a message from the seller stating that they were both GUARANTEED genuine 1914 D cents. That contradicted what the title said so I assumed they were genuine.
DING DING DING ................YOU ARE CORRECT... What does RLM win folks!!! A brand new Shiny bright red 1944 D Damaged MS 66 RED but seriously though he is spot on that coin is a fake!!
That is not what I read from your posts. Plus, if you wanted us to report it, it would be most helpful if you were to post a link to the auction rather than trying to hide it.
"if you wanted us to report it, it would be most helpful if you were to post a link to the auction rather than trying to hide it." OK. Just what is wrong with that statement and if you wanted it reported, why not list the auction?
Oh, just ignore him. He's changing his story to stir the pot. He didn't post the link because he was hoping for a authentic coin at a fraction of the cost that was mislabeled...and if we saw it he was afraid we'd bid. That's why he always says "please don't outbid me" in his threads. Unfortunately, we know how to use eBay too. Now, that we have figured all that out...there's no more fun in it. So, by changing the story and adding the email wrinkle into it...more fun can be had. ...there was an old member who used to do that around here and he got banned. I don't remember his name, but I think it started with an "I." So, just ignore it.
From what I could see, he spent over 1/2 hour looking at this post, but has not come up with an answer yet.
