Darn it but I dropped an vf 1919 neitherlands 2 1/2 cent piece... I expect it will turn up tomorrow once I have sunlight to see with... but for now I blaming and thanking @Snorlax93 for posting his, this being the reason I took a box from the bottom shelf, then banging my head on the back point of the drawer (yes I have shelves sorta under my desk lol) Well when the stars stopped spinning and i stopped swearing, I spotted an unopen package from my brother... which contained a litte treasure.. some coins from my teenage collection he came across clearing out some old furnature from the basement)
so here's a bit of the treasure :D
the 1968 dimes pics do it no justice. It really need to get out of that flip.. it is a thing of beauty... but not tonight I already had 1 coin escape lol.... and the 58 Wheat damn near as nice as my ms68rd if not better (considering another addition to my growing submission lol)

I had a coin "escape" once. It was an 1868 Indian cent that I had in my pocket for whatever reason. I went to the gym, and never saw the coin again. RIP

That's a great excuse not to go.
"I can't go to the gym today hon, I'm afraid I'm going to lose this coin in my pocket."

I've had numerous "escapes" over the years, one of the more memorable being a nice 1797 British twopence, which is not a small and insubstantial coin by any means. (They didn't nickname those "Cartwheels" for nothing.)

    Never found it. :(

Perhaps the people who bought our old house in North Carolina did. If so, I'll bet they were gobsmacked by the find.

On the flip side of the coin (no pun intended), I once found an 1875-S USA 20-cent piece I didn't even know I owned, so that was good.

I don't believe I have any 2 and a half cent specimens that I'm aware of? Am I losing my mind? Wouldn't be the first time haha
