I've Been Buying Central Fund Of Canada Ltd (CEF) - A Bullion ETF

I have an account with a brokerage and over the past few weeks I've been selling off most of my stock positions, and instead of letting the cash sit there, I've been moving it into CEF. It's a bit easier than holding the physical gold and silver, and keeps it more liquid. It's not much of a protection if we really face a SHTF situation though. I feel better about being in CEF than holding USD though. Anyone else long on CEF?
