I do not know if this has come up but the new format does not display in a useful way on the IE on my windows based phone.

 

Get off the phone and into the forum.....

Sorry, this new "app's" technology's got me clueless.....

 

Thanks. I just listed some simple things to kick this off and test the waters. Maybe I will try to become a Supporter so I can list more items.

 

The forum displayed okay before with my Blackberry's [emulated] IE browser, but it still was hokey given the size of its ≈3" display. I use it for notifying me when new posts arrive with subscribed threads, but that's about it. Otherwise I use my laptop or desktop.

 

It is not an "app". It is Internet Explorer that comes on my mobile phone. The old forum displayed with no problem.

 

I believe he was referring to this forum as the "app", rather than specifically the browser on your phone

 

So far I think the changes are great and the efforts put in need a big round of applause. Thank you....or some high fives :high5::high5:

I do think thus far it's good. The only aspect that I see different is it seems that [page] loading is tad bit slower...

 

Say what! Pages, even those with loads of images, seems to load really fast. Navigating is a breeze too. I was worried it would have placed everything in different style of directories, but everything has been very intuitive and fluid. It's fast and "I'm lovin' it!"

This is what I am getting when I click on the US Coins Forum. All the other buttons, forums and gizmos seem to work. (This copy and past is the short version, it's really long) Is this from the new software, or is it something I should do on my local comp?

I am not having any problems getting in there at the moment. I would guess Peter was playing at the time you tried.

 

I hope Peter bring the "New Posts" on the right column again, I really enjoyed how it was set up on the old verison

Well after reloading Chrome same thing. Wait it gets better!
IE works just fine. Wait it gets better still!
Ends up all I had to do was right click the mouse and reload page. Works just fine now!
A real head-scratcher this early in the morn!

If this information is already known forgive me.. But the arcade isn't taking any scores; A screen comes up and states,"Your submission could not be processed because a security token was missing." This I'm sure is the least of everyones worries.. I'm just letting it be known.

As for the rest of the site.. Thumbs up! :thumb::thumb:

 

To my understanding, it's not a priority to getting the overall site indexed and operational. At this time it's not fully built (updated) yet and ready for use, as you've noted.
