In addition I keep making one mistake. I always do the quick reply, but when I'm typing it and I finish, I sometimes click that blue button with the plus sign that says REPLY TO THREAD, and it refreshes everything I type. I get angry when that happens. Also I agree with what Raider said, I really don't like the New Posts feature and on the beginning forum page that doesn't even show up. I guess I can say I like the update, but CT is really changed, it looks more professional I guess, just a little different. But I know Peter has things up his sleeve, so I don't want to say anything is final just yet.
Rome wasn't built in a day, and neither was CoinTalk. The biggest changes with this software update were in the admin side, it's going to take me a while to learn the lay of the land and fix up some of the things you mention.
It's really looking good and quite functional in one day, and I bet Rome wasn't, LOL! Least it didn't stay that way. Great work Peter. When are sending us the bill? :goofer:
Poor Color/Contrasr Choices This program definitely wasn't installed/set-up by one of "advanced age". I don't understand how anyone could view the "powder blue" background, with slightly lighter blue lettering, used throughout, and not have vision problems. If it is possible to change the slanted thin-lettered quote font to a vertical thicker font, it sure would improve reading. If the "Title:" font size were increased to match that of the post it would also be an easier "read". Thanks for allowing "feedback".
I concur. I am very pleased with the upgrade and smoothness of it. And I was very uncertain how this might have gone as other forums with this version of the software are not as fully integrated and useful in the similar manner to the previous. Great work Peter.
Hey, you guys want to do something useful, go post something in the new classified section and let me know how it works.
Peter, I see that as a Seller in the Classified's section you can set up a profile there. How much of this information is publicly visible? I wouldn't want to post too much private info publically. PLMK and check out my first listing in the Paper category.
I wouldn't recommend putting anything in there that you don't want public. The classified section is new to me too, just don't put any personal info in it that you wouldn't share in a public thread until we have a better understanding of how it all works. You can still share your personal info via private message. As I understand the software, when someone clicks the buy button, it goes through the private messaging system.
