Its raining washington quarters...

    Big problem with modern coinage is all the stuff that's required to be on them, at least Quarters and up - "LIBERTY", "E PLURIBUS UNUM", "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA", "IN GOD WE TRUST", stars, an Eagle, the denomination and the date. All that plus a portrait and you wind up with something that's all jammed together and jumbled up. Compare that with the simple beauty of the Seated Liberty series. I'll take the old ones over the new ones any day.

    your taste has gone down. with all the world designs at your disposal you picked all of these designs. sigh. BTW with this post i have closed the white house case now :D

    Well duh - kinda hard to pick world designs when I was only picking from among US designs. Do you ever read the actual posts ?
