Last year I attended a Live Metal Detecting event in Rock Hill, South Carolina. In the seeded hunt of the event I got a Franklin Half.

These are all the silver coins from that event.
See the top left corner

Love the Franklin half. It's my favorite way to stack silver. Currently working on my fourth complete set.

I only need 6 more just like this to have a complete collection in this grade by this TPG. Slowly but surely. :)

How about one that worked for a living. Pulled out of circulation around 1975.

I traded in the bulk of my Franklin's recently, with only a few non-show pieces left, so instead I've been enjoying seeing these other examples rather than showing something of my own. And that's kinda nice, honestly. My cull Benjis and walkers got me that cool California fractional (and some other stuff) which is currently awaiting a grade from anacs.

This is a nice thread that I'm definitely enjoying though, especially considering my halves have been depleted of late!
