Maybe some Kleenex when someone tries to sell you some gold plated state quarters or the decal covered Obama coins. Bruce
thanx guys! still deciding on which show to do & which show will fit me in. Many shows here in socal have a waiting list to get a table
Try a trade show if they have them there. Cheaper too like $20 to $50 a weekend We have one out here its called SPORTS CARDS, ANTIQUES & COLLECTIBLES http://www.gibraltartrade.com/Michigan_Show_Expo_Events.html
Answer customers questions with a smile, develope comradarie with the dealers ( they can help you some day ), TAKE A SHOWER AND WEAR CLEAN CLOTHES, keep a smile on your face, and most of all remember, this is FUN, if your not a full time pro, have a great day. Remember, you COULD be at work:smile
I would second coinman's comment. I came across some kind of caustic personalities, which completely turned me off. Be engaging to people, especially those who look like newer collectors, and be eager to answer questions.
