Fascinating article. I would love to see the contents of the hoard......it sounds like some high end denominations were in the stash. The stash includes a gold coin known as a "golden angel"; gold ducats and double ducats; silver coins known as thalers, half-thalers and quarter-thalers; and hundreds of pennies.
