Hi, and welcome to CT. Lots and lots of very knowledgeable people here, so feel free to ask questions and post pictures as you grow in our wonderful hobby. To your questions: There were 37,600,000 Marianas quarters produced at the Denver mint, and 35,200,000 at the Philadelphia mint. In addition, a number of business strikes were produced at the San Francisco mint to be included in numismatic items sold by the U.S. mint, such as rolls and bags of uncirculated quarters. In order to stimulate interest in coin collecting, the Mint also struck 2,000,000 quarters at West Point in New York and included them in bags and rolls that were distributed to banks all over the country. The original poster found a quarter with a "W" mintmark (struck at West Point), and since there are only 2 million of them, it's kind of exciting to find one. So I guess I'm trying to say that the quarters with the "D" and "P" mintmarks are quite common and usually worth only face value. "S" mintmarked quarters are rarer, and "W" mintmarked ones are the least common. Selling for between $10-$25 on Ebay. "W" quarters were struck for all of the 2019 America the Beautiful quarter series, so there are 5 different ones out there. If you like the ones you have, by all means keep and enjoy them. And keep your eyes open for the "W" mint marked ones. Good luck!!!
