Yes, it's mine. I have at least one coin from every king or queen, who issued coins, from Edward the Confessor to Elizabeth II. I have tried to get gold pieces, when available, but a number of them only grade VF using U.S. standards. The high grade ones get pricey.

I am working on the kings before Edward the Confessor now, starting with Alfred the Great. I don't have him yet.

I feel the same way about the price, though if I had a large amount of disposable income I probably would buy the coin. It represents an interesting chapter in the Anglo-French struggle.

The Baltimore show is always fun to attend as there are some great dealers, Andy being one of them. His selection of medieval coins is impressive and he is really enjoyable to talk with. For over an hour a couple of other medieval collectors and I sat and talked with Andy about coins as we went through his boxes. I would recommend attending the Baltimore show at least once just to visit him.

CNG also had a booth at the show, which was interesting to see. Many of the coins they had on display were from their website, but they also had several trays of high grade Athenian tets. Sure enough, they were from the hoard that has been discussed here.
