Not yelling, just excited, so I guess I am yelling. I have it in my hands. My Morgan Dollar collection is now complete. It’s a lower grade set but what the heck, it’s still worth a lot of money. Over $4,000 just for melt silver in it at $60 an ounce, a lot more for all of the key and semi-key dates. I normally buy the more expensive dates first but I had so many of them I just need a few of the rougher to get dates. Now it’s complete. It took me 3 months to pay this one off and it was under $4,000.00. It’s also the only Details Coin in my entire collection but I’m gone with that. The slab label says cleaned but in hand, it really doesn’t show any signs of cleaning. There is a small amount of wear of the slab and the coin has a rim ding on the reverse at 4 PM. In thrilled to add this coin to my collection.
My dealer also sent me this coin at no charge to put in my Whitman’s folder. It’s dated 1893 but it will go into the 1893-S spot. It will also be noted that this is a counterfeit coin. It sells for over $200.00.
Amazing on the set completion, I can't even imagine getting that done. That "details" coin in pretty dang nice!
