Hi everyone, I hope you are all doing well! I haven’t posted in a while, although, I’m reading threads everyday. Mental illness has been kicking my behind lately, but I’m determined to fight through the storm until it passes over and the sun shines again. I should have posted these a month and a half ago and my sincerest apologies to @ominus1 for not acknowledging and expressing my gratitude for his generosity sooner. These are my first coins of the year and, hopefully, not my last. Ominus1 sent my some sweet coins, two Judaean, two Roman and a really cool pendant. Thanks buddy! As always, apologies for the lame photos, they certainly don’t do the coins justice. Herod the Great I’m pretty sure Alexander Jannaeus, but I can’t figure out the Hendin #. Unknown Romans Pendant If anyone has any info on the Romans they could share, I’d really appreciate it! Post any random coins you want! Thanks for everything!! Erin
The Julia Domna has LAETITIA standing left, holding wreath in right hand and rudder in left hand, RIC 561, BMCRE 46.
Great to see you posting, Erin! I sampled your images and tried to crop them a bit. I may have messed up the color however. PM me if there's anything I can do to help
Thank you so much for the warm welcome back, everyone. Its much appreciated! I figured I had a Julia Domna, thanks for verifying chrsmat and Roman Collector. I check the forum everyday, seeing the awesome coins. To be honest, sometimes coming onto the forum would e the highlight of my day. I'm trying to get out and try new things. I still volunteer at the charity shop. Thank goodness for understanding and caring bosses! I go to our food bank for dinner a couple of times a week and have just started taking cooking classes there. I just need to keep my mind focus on all of the amazing things I have. It may not be much to a lot of people, but I'm grateful for everything I have, especially being part of such an awesome hobby with such wonderful people! Keep yo chins up! Erin
Way cool Erin! @ominus1 is an awesome individual. He sent me a couple really cool coins when there was a deep low in my life. He nailed it and lifted me. Great guy, that Greg.
