That’s awesome. My family has some funny ones. my mom tries to remember but sometimes it’s frustrating explaining the same “basic” topics to her. She knows type 1 vs 2 buffalos, she knows (generally) about what’s silver, and she knows what a “BVD” 1909 cent is. She looks for W quarters as well. But she looks on every quarter so I’ve told her to just stop looking and let me do it considering she lets me check all of our change. My dad thinks I’m crazy for even collecting. He won’t say it but it’s evident. He hates that I look through his change. But I’ve found silvers. Mostly because dad doesn’t even look at what comes through before he dumps it. At least mom tries My pappy is hilarious with coins. He’s near 80 and just not the type to worry about such little things as dates on his pocket change. Well I went through his change bucket a couple months ago, and he had peace dollars in the jar he was going to take to the bank. Had no clue they were silver. It was a fun day for us both. I even found a 1972 doubled die. Not that he had any clue what that was. My memere hasn’t cashed in on change in at least a decade. Bin after bin is packed with change I’ve looked at since I started collecting and searching. She sometimes asks me if coins are errors. (They are newbie errors but I think it’s quite cute.)
