Obv: Helmeted head of Athena left.
Rev: ΣΑΛ. Prow left.
BMC 74.
12mm, 2.3g.

Sicily, Syracuse, Heiron II AE18. 274-216 BC.
Obv: Diademed head of Poseidon left, within border of dots.
Rev: IEPW-NOS, trident head, with scrolls decoration between prongs; lotiform shaft, flanked by dolphins.


Sicily, Panormos. Uncertain date in the 1st or 2nd Triumvirate.
Obv: Laureate head of Zeus right.
Rev: PANOPMITAN.C.D, tetrastyle temple.
AE 22mm (7.15 gm).

Syracuse, Sicily, under Roman rule, after 212 BC. AE20.
Obv: Bust of Demeter-Core right, wearing wreath of corn-ears.
Rev: Demeter standing left, holding torch and transverse sceptre. SURAKOSIWN
