Weird denominations. A 1 and 5 dinar gold coin, a 5, 10, and 20 dinar silver coin, and a 10 and 20 dinar copper coin? The gold coins are the SMALL denominations and the copper are the big ones?
I didn't even look that closely ... I would assume it's because it's a lot easier for them to get their hands on copper than gold.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!!! ... just replace "At Work" with "On CoinTalk". (This is my agreement with you Desert Gem. )
There is a brilliant solution to this! Once they mint gold coins, why not let the counterfeiters replace them with gold plated lead coins?

They probably have a mint or two that could produce them. Long term the materials will be the problem. I don't feel they can keep it going for very long unless they restrike over other coins.
